This privacy policy describes how IFG uses and safeguards information and resources you provide in using IFG products.

Explanation of Software and Service
IFG provides the IFG product ("Software") and IFG Services ("Services") under a variety of terms. IFG requires registration prior to providing the Software or Services.

Use of information
IFG DOES NOT SELL, RENT, LOAN, TRADE, LEASE, OR OTHERWISE TRANSFER ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION COLLECTED THROUGH IFG SOFTWARE OR SERVICE TO ANY THIRD PARTY. IFG WILL TREAT ANY INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE TO IFG AS CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION AND WILL NOT DISCLOSE IT TO ANY THIRD PARTY. IFG MAY, HOWEVER, ENGAGE A THIRD PARTY IN ORDER TO CARRY OUT IFG'S COMMUNICATION AND/OR MARKETING, STRICTLY ON IFG'S BEHALF AND UNDER IFG'S SUPERVISION. SUCH A THIRD PARTY WILL BE BOUND TO THESE SAME CONFIDENTIALITY CONDITIONS.

In the event that IFG and/or its units or subsidiaries are ever sold, acquired, merged, liquidated, reorganized, or otherwise transferred, IFG reserves the right to transfer its user databases together with any personally identifiable information contained therein, to a third-party acquiring IFG's assets. In the event IFG does so, it will place a prominent notice of the sale on the homepage of its corporate website, with links to information as to how you can change your privacy preferences.

What information do you provide to us and how do we use it?
When you use the IFG Software and Services, you provide two types of information: (1) Personal information you actively choose to disclose to IFG ("Personal information") and (2) information that you share or communicate with other IFG Software users ("Shared information").

Personal information includes information which is required in order to utilize the IFG Software. This includes your registration and license information. It also includes a password to access portions of our site intended for registered users. This information is stored centrally by IFG. Personal information also includes your billing/payment information. Billing/payment information is stored securely by IFG. Billing/payment information is stored in order to conduct transactions on your behalf.

From time to time, IFG may send you surveys or solicit your feedback. IFG uses surveys to gauge user interest in new products and services that may be offered. IFG will use the information it gathers to improve its site, software, and services and to provide a more meaningful experience for its users. IFG may also use the information to alert you to offers and products of IFG in which you have expressed an interest.

Shared information includes any information you enter into an IFG public space such as a tutorial database or a user forum. Because such information is widely accessible and not under IFG's control, IFG cannot ensure its confidentiality nor restrain others from making commercial use of that information. IFG itself will treat such information in the same confidential manner as "Personal information" and will delete any such information at your request as described below.

No Extraneous System information Collected
No information concerning your computing facilities is collected that is not related to providing IFG software and services, including other installed software systems, non-service-related content, or hardware peripherals.

No Provision of information to Third Parties Without Your Permission
IFG will not sell, rent, lease, or otherwise provide personal information to any third party - with the exception of a third party it has hired to carry out its communications and/or marketing, as set forth above - unless required by the software and services for which you've registered.

Length of Time Data Will Be Stored
We will store personal and shared information for a period of two years or for the period of time required in applicable laws and regulations, whichever is greatest. At the conclusion of that time, all such information will be deleted.

Risks and Disclaimers
Please be careful and responsible whenever you're online. If you post personal information online that is accessible to the public, you may receive unsolicited messages from other parties in return. While we strive to protect your information, IFG cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us except for information specifically covered by IFG's Privacy Statement.
